Tha death occurred at Mosg;iel on ""Saturday of the Rev. James Muir McKerrow, at tha age of seventy throe years. The provincial organiser for the -farmers' Union, Mr J. C. Fowler, will leave for Carterton to-day. He proposes to deliver addresses and form a district branch at Carterton, on the lines of that formed at Masterton on Saturday afternoon. Ic is also intended to have another district centre at South Wavrarapa, but the head-quarters will not be decided upon until a conference of the present officials in the Lower Valley haa been held. Mr Fowler visitpd Kaituna branch last evening to deliver an address to the members.
