MASTERTON-WAIPUKURAU RAILWAY LINE.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —I have no intention of being drawn into a newspaper correspondence on. the subject, but I cannot allow the misprint or rnis-statement (I prefer to think it the former) appearing in Saturday's report of the Chamber of Commerce meeting to go unchallenged, "That I had stated .that the teririnus would be Opaki or Newman is the natural terminus, and I mentioned Mauricevilie to show that there were two routes, this end to be considered before JVlasterton. The statement is so absurd that possibly I am wasting time contradicting it. —I am, etc., i F. WISE. Organising Secretary, Eketahura Railway League. (Our report of what was stated at the Chamber of Commerce meeting is quite corred.— Ed. W.A.)
