CLUB SWINGING RECORD.

AUCKLAND, May 17. At the Opera House, last night, Tom Burrows, the champion club swinger, broke the record of 62 hours 2 minutes, put up by himself in Wellington a fortnight ago, by four minutes. He could apparently have gone on for a longer period, but was advised to djesist. At the conclusion he was presented with a gold medal set with a diamond and £ls (a spontaneous collection in the Opera House). There was a tremendous demonstration at the conclusion of the feat.
