A PREDICTION. NEW YORK, May 15. Ac a meeting of the Canadian Club in New York, Mr Justice Longley, of Halifax, Nova Scotia, predicted that Canada would ultimately become an independent State in alliance with Britain. The British Ambassador (Right Hon. James Bryce), who was present, strongly dissented, and Mr Ju3tice Longley left the room. ; •". '
