UNREST IN INDIA.
AN EDITOR ARRESTED. CALCUTTA, May 15. The editor of the Onjerah weekly, the Indian Home Rule paper, has been arrested in Bombay on a charge of sedition. A BOMB OUTRAGE. FOUR NATIVES INJURED. ' Received May 17, 4.16 p.m. CALCUTTA, May 16. While crossing a tram-line hero a cart struck a paper parcel, and an explosion followed. The parcel contained bombs wrapped round with paper. Four natives were seriously injured. Notices in Bengali previously 'distributed warned the natives not to enter first-class tram-cars because it was intended to destroy them. 21st LANCERS FIRED ON. Received May 17, 4.19 p.m. CALCUTTA, May 16. Two squadrons of the 21st Lancers Were ascending an amphitheatre at the base of the K.hapak Pas*, 30 miles north-west of Peshawar, when they wero suddenly fired ori from all sides., Two of'the Lancers were wounded. The 57th and 58th " Rifles were sent to support the Lancers, whereupon the enemy retired, and the pasa was occupied by the 'British.
