There is a strong demand for crossbreda. Received May 15, 10.48 a.m. LONDON, May 14. At the wool sale 3 the lots sold included the Rangatira clip, which brought 5Jd per lb. The Department of Industries and Commerce has received the following cablegram from the High Commissioner, dated London, May 13th: — "Wool sales have commenced, with a large attendance. The average price obtained shows a penny reduction from last sale. There is good competition at lower prices, especially for coarse crossbred 3, all grades."
