AN OVERDUE STEAMER.
A FRUITLESS SEARCH. Received May 15, 10.20 a.m. MELBOURNE, May 15. The search steamers found no trace of the steamer Orion; now nearly a week overdue on the trip from Tasmania. All vessels are keeping a sharp lookout. The Orion had only a short supply of provisions, and if she is drifting, disabled, it is feared the supply will be soon exhausted.
