SUICIDE OF A WOMAN.

ASHBURTON, May 11. A young married woman, named Mrs Ileriot, wife of a Papanui resident, who is employed in his father's 3tore, committed suicide by hanging herself in the orchard of a relative named Evans, whom she was visiting at Spreadeagle, 16 miles from Ashburton. The deceased retired to bed as usual last night, but later her absence was discovered through the cries of her two young children. Several hours search failed to reveal her whereabout, but at daybreak her body was found suspended from a tree.
