MASTEE.TON COUNTY. , Proposal to raise a Loan under "The Local Bodies Loan Act, 1901," and its Amendments. TVTOTICE is hereby given of the intenJIM tion of the Masterton County Council, subject to the consent of the Ratepayers being obtained thereto by Poll, to raise re Loan tinder tho above mentioned Acts for the purpose of constructing Head Works and distributing races in connection with a Water Supply for the Opaki Water Supply District. The sum proposed to be harrowed for the said ptirpose is .£2500. The currency of the loan is to be a period of 21 years, and the proposed security will be a special rate of one ponny in the pound on the rateable value for the time being of all ratoablo property within the said Water-race District, as denned in tho special order made by the Council on the Bth day of June, 1905 constituting the said District —but, excepting therefrom one hundrod and forty three acres of land, being parts of Sections G3 to 69, 65 and 56, Blocks I Otihoua, and XIII Kopuaranga Survey Districts in the occupation of Mr Alfred Matthews, and lots 5 and 6, parts of Sections 81, 83 and 85, Block 1., Otahoua, containing 59a Or 10p., in the occupation of Steven Connell. OTICE is hereby given of the intention of the Masterton County Cduncil, subject to the consent of the Ratepayers being obtained thereto by Poll, to raise a Loan under the above mentioned Acta for the purpose of establishing a High-pressure Water Supply for the use of tho Residents of Lansdowno. The sum proposod to bo borrowed is .£ISOO. The currency of tho loan is to be a period of .21 years, and tho proposed aecurity will bo ft special rato of one penny and a sixteenth of a penny in the pound on tho rateable value for the time being of all rateable property within the Lansdowno High-pressure Water Service District as defined in tho Special order made by the Couneil on the Bth day of Juno, 1!)05, constituting the said District. The cost of raising tho loan is to be a charge upon the money borrowed. A meeting of Ratepayers for the purpose of considering the proposal will bo convened in accordance with the provisions of law, and notice of the time and place of such meeting will bo given in due course.
