PERSONAL.
Mr Wi Te Tau, of Grey town, has left on an extended visit to England. Mr J. O'Meara, of Masterton, returned on Monday night from Rotorua, where ha hai been spending some weeks. Mr C. H. MacShane, for a number of years a member of the staff of the Pahiatua branch of the Bank of New South Wales, has been promoted to a position in the Wellington branch. Trior to leaving Pahiatua, Mr MacShane waq presented with a pole! albert and a purse of sovereigns by his friends, who wished him success in his new sphere.
