Mr J. C. Boddington reports that the rainfall registered at Upper Plain fur the 48 hours up to 9 a.m. on Monday was 26 points.
At 9 a.m. yesterday Captain Edwin issued the following forecast for the subsequent 24 hours: — Wind —Easterly, moderate to strong at all places northward of Napier and Kawhia, northerly, moderate to strong at all other places. Barometer. —Fall everywhere.
