At an inquest held at Wellington on Friday, says the "Post," on a child who died aged three and a-half months, Dr. Fyffe, in giving evidence, said he did not think the patent food referred to in the enquiry was the proper thing to wean an infant upmi. Certain children could not digest it. A child of the age of three aqd-a-half months should be weaned on pasturieed or boiled fresh milk in the proportion of five tablespoonsful of milk to seven of water, with a teaspoonful of sugar and limewater.
