At a meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union, on Thursday night, a letter was received from the Bush Union, stating that the Wairarapa Union' had refused to grant half the proceeds of the gate receipts in connection with the matdi to be played in order to enable the selection of a team to play against the team. At Featherston, on Thursday, the Rover and Liberal Seniors, played a drawn game—three points each. s Rover Juniors defeated Liberal Juniors, at Carterton, on Thursday, by 18 points to nil.
