For the second day of the Marlborough Racing Club's meeting the weather was fine and the going good. The totalisator receipts amounted to £5,244, the total for the meeting being £9,277, as against £10,773 for the last autumn meeting. Results:— Hurdles. Whatakura 1, Jolly Roger 2, Fretwork 3. A protest against the winner, as the partnership was not registered, was upheld, arid the race given to Jolly Roger. All started. Time, 3min 28 2-ssec. High Weight Hack.—Rangina 1, Glen 2, Sweethill 3. Scratched—Pharmaceutical. Won by a length. Time, lmin 6 3-ssec. Owaka Hack.—Gaelic 1, White Lie 2, Diplomatic 3. All started. Won easily. Time, lmin 47 2-ssec. Presidents Handicap.—Lawn Roae 1, Tupono 2, First View 3. Scratched —White Lie. Won in a canter by i several lengths. Time, 2min 3 l-ssec. Riverlands Hack.—Naumai 1, Axite 2, Sweethill 3. Scratched—Te Kainui. Won easily. Time, 52 l-ssec. Telegraph Handicap.—Rose Petal 1, Lawn Rose 2, Waicola 3. All started. Won by half a length. Time, lmin 33 3-ssec. Maiden Scurry.—Glentui 1, Mania 2, Watershed 3. Scratched—Teanui, Czuozor, Ngarara, Glenrock, Pharmaceutical, Hinemoa. Won easily by two lengths. Time, lmin 5 l-ssec. Final Hack Welter.—Wharekura 1, Kelso 2, Strathcona 3. Scratched—Rosalia and llillsong. Won all the way. Time, l.,iin 19sec.
