UNITED STATES AND JAPAN.
ARBITRATION TREATY SIGNED. Received May 7, 11.25 p.m. NEW YORK, May 7. United States and Japan have signed an Arbitration Treaty similar to those accepted with other countries. The newspapers in New York and Tokio interpret this a3 meaning that all the differences between the two countries have now been settled.
