OBITUARY.
AN ADVENTUROUS DOCTOR. Received May 7, 10.30 a.m. MELBOURNE, May 7. Dr. Home, of Traralgon, who has succumbed to injuries received in a motor accident, had an eventful career. He enlisted in the Cameron Scuuts during the Eoer war, and was shot through the lungs, but made a remarkable recovery. He subsequently went to China, where he was attacked by bandits, and severely wounded. The Chinese (Government paid him a thousand pounds as compensation. A SOUTH AUSTRALIAN "" SPORTSMAN. Received May 7, 10.30 a.m. ADELAIDE, May 7. The death is announced, at the age of 90, of Mr C. U. Fisher, "Father of the Australian Turf."
