MASONIC GRAND LODGE.

ANNUAL COMMUNICATION. AUCKLAND, May 6. The annual communication of the Maso::ic Grand Lodge of New Zealand was opened this afternoon, W.M. Bro. Lord Plunket, Grand Mastsr presiding. The report of the Board on general purposes stated that the funds of the Grand Lodge now amounted to £16,158, of which £3,243 belon;e.i to the fund of benevolence. There were now 157 lodges in the dominion, and applications were likely to be received shortly from others in several growing townships. It was decided th-il'the next annual communication be held at New Plymouth in May, 1909.
