OTHER OUTRAGES CONTEMPLATED. Received May 6, 8.30 a.m. ." -CALCUTTA, Ma> 5. Of thirty persons arrested in Calcutta in connection with the discovery of bomb factories, several confessed to participating in the attempt to wreck Sir A. Eraser's train on 7th December last, and in bomb outrages at Chandernagore. They aho admitted that attempts on the Viceroy, Lord Kitchener, and other firm, energetic officials were under consideration. PROMINENT MEN IMPLICATED. Received May 6, 8.30 a.m. LONDON, May 5. The "Standard" says that some prominent Bengalis are implicated in the Calcutta plots. THIRTY ARRESTS MADE. ACCUSED COMMITTED FOR TRIAL.
Received May 6, 11.10 p.m. CALCUTTA, May 6. In connection with the bomb outrage, thirty parsons have been arrested at Calcutta and committed for trial. They were not allowed bail. Ulash Dult, son of a professor at ths Engineering College at Sibpur, hus confessed that he and a chemist named Kern made the bombs. The prisoners include Arabindo Ghose, a native editor. One of the prisoners admitted that but for the police a series of outrages, planned against the Government, would have been carried out.
