NOTICE is heroby given of the intention of the Masterton County Council, subject to the consent of the Ratepayers being obtained thereto by Poll, to raiso a Loan nndor tho above mentioned Acts for the purpose ot conBtrucfcinff Head Works and distributing races in'connection with a Water Supply for the Opaki Water Supply District. Tho sum proposed to be borrowed for yfche eaid purpose is ,£2500. The currency of the loan is to be a period of 21 years, and the proposed security will be a special rate ot one penny in the pouud on the rateable value , for the time being of all rateable property within the said Water-raco District, as defined in tho special order made by the Council on the Bth day ot June, ISIOS constituting the said District—but, excepting therefrom one hundred and forty three acres of land, being parts ot Sections 03 to ott, B5 and 50, Blocks I Otahoua, and XIII Kopuaranga Survey Districts in the occupation ot Mr Altreu , Matthews, and lots 5 and 15, parts ot Sections 81. 83 and 85, Block 1., Otahoua, containing 59a Or 10p„ in the occupation •of Steven Connoll. NOTICE is heroby given of the intention of the Masterton County Council, subject to the consent of the Ratepayers being obtained thereto by Poll, to raiso a Loan under the above mentioned Acts for the purpose of establishing a High-pressure Water Supply for the use of tho Residents of Lansdowne. Tho sum proposed to lie borrowed is .£4500. The currency of tho loan is to be a period of 21 "years, and tho proposed uecurity will be a special rate of one penny and a sixteenth of a penny in the pound on the rateable value for the time being of all rateable property within the Lansdowne High-pressure Water Service District as donned in tho Special order made by tho Council on the Bth day of June, 1905, constituting the said District. The cost of raising tho loan is to be a charge upon the money borrowed. A meeting of Ratepayers for the purpose of considering the proposal will bo convened in accordance with the provisions of law, and notice of tjie time and place of such meeting will bo given in due course.
