A match will be played in the Showgrounds this afternoon, commencing at 3 clock, between Masterton and Red Star seniors. Keen interest is being taken in the newly-formed Association Club in Masterton, and there is now a very strong membership. The secretary, Mr W. Parker, and a number of other enthusiasts, are working energetically to put the Club on a sound footing, and their efforts are meeting with well-deserved success. A practice match will be held in Fraser's paddock this afternoon, and a meeting of members and intending members will be held in the Dominion Hall at 7.30 o'clock on Monday evening.
