A SORDID CRIME.
—» ■ WOMAN MURDERED BY AN OLD COUPLE. Received April 30, 9.3 a.m. NEW YORK, April 29. After forging a deed to obtain possession of their victim's house at Waterton, New York, a septuagenarian couple named Farmer lured Mrs Brennan into the house, and killed her with an axe, which the wife wielded. They afterwards transferred the body to a trunk in the deceased's house, of which they took possession'. The Farmers were arrested and confessed.
