METEOROLOGICAL.
At 9 a.m. yesterday, Captain Edwin issued the following report for the subsequent 24 hours;— Wind.— Southerly; moderate to strong in most parts of the country. Barometer.—-Fall slowly at places eastward of Tauranga, Taupo, and Castlepoint. Rise slowly everywhere else. Kain is probable after 16 hours at places eastward of Tauranga, Taupo and Castlepoint. Warning signal for south-easterly gale will be exhibited at East Cape after sunrise.
