BLENHEIM. BLENHEIM, April 29. The Mayoral election resulted in Mr A. McCallum being re-elected by 560 votes to Mr E. A. Penny's 336. HASTINGS. NAPIER, April 29. The Mayoral election resulted: Mr T. J. Thompson (retiring Mayor) 505; MrL. W. Fowler, 392; Mr A. A. George, 154; Mr W. Lane, 91. NEW PLYMOUTH.
NEW PLYMOUTH, April 29
The Mayoral election, in which much interest was taken, resulted as follows:—Mr G. Tisch, 709; Mr F. Bellringer, 533; Mr W. A. Collis, 141.
CHRISTCHURCH. CHRISTCHURCH, April 29.
The Mayoral election resulted:— MrC. Allison, 1,389; Mr Geo. Payling (present Mayor) 1,247.
