SCHOOL COMMITTEES.
CARTERTON. The following Committee has been elected for the ensuing / year:— Messrs John Brown (chairman), J. G. Moore, D Reid, A. F. Wilson, Rev. W. J. Elliott, Jas. Nicholls, J. Callister, H. Wilson, and L. H. Victory; secretary, Mr R. J. Chapman; treasurer, Mr D. Reid. At the annual meeting of householders, on Monday night, the secretary's report showed that the receipts for the year amounted to £lO 18s Id, and the expenditure £95 Is sd, leaving a credit balance of£9 16s Bd. The number of scholars on the roll was approximately 300. EKETAHUNA. ' The following have been elected a School Commitee for Eketahuna for the ensuing year:—Messrs Kershaw (chairman), Walker, Rowse Pelling, Grifgth, Waldie (secretary.) BIDEFORD. At the meeting of householders on Monday night, the following committee was elected: — Messrs J. W. Carswell (chairman, treasurer and secretary), Joseph Percy, George Swinn, Jos. Westbrook, W. J. Percy. MAURICEVILLE WEST. The following members were elected a School Committee:— Messrs William Jessen (chairman), R. P. Hansen, J. Roigard, J. P. Petersen, E. W. Nielsen, Anders Larsen, W. Petersen.
