METEOROLOGICAL.
At 9 a.m., yesterday, Captain Edwin issued the following forecast for the subsequent 24 hours:— Wind.—Westerly, strong to gale generally. Barometer.-Fall everywhere, but rising in the southern districts after 16 hours. Rain is probable gener-ally. Warning signals for westerly gale is, exhibited at Capes Maria Van Diemen, Tiritiri, East Cape, Capes Campbell, Farewell Spit, Foulwind, and Nuggets.
