MR PRICE ON THE WARPATH.

A QUESTION OF PREFERENCE. Received April 24, 8,20.a^m. LONDON, April 23. Mr T. Price, Premier of South Australia, addressing the members of the Liverpool Produce Exchange, said that if the merchants of iLiverpool gave South Australia more for her produce than she was getting in London, she would send direct to Liverpool, and smash up all the economics in the world by giving a bonus in the form of a subsidy to ships to come to Liverpool. This statement was received with applause. They would some day, continued t}ie spenker, understand the wisdom of giving Australia some kind of preference. Australia certainly intended to offer British people preference in trade matters.
