A SERIOUS ACCIDENT.

WELLINGTON April 20. Thomas Langdon Joll, a dairy factory proprietor residing at Okiawa, Taranaki, met with a serious accident in Lambton Quay at about 7 o'clock to-night In getting off a tramcar, before it stopped, he slipped and fell, his head coming into violent contact with the road. Dr Henry found the base of Joll's skull to be fractured. He is now in the Hospital in a critical condition. Mr Joll is about 50 years of age, and a well-known resident of Taranaki.
