Potatoes Provided •growers do not overburden markets, brisk consumption existing will check ■further weakening until winter is passed. Whites are steady at £4 ss, Blues £4 10s. Maize.—Small turnover at 4s Bd. Barley.—Malting •quiet 5s 3d, feed 4a, Cape 4s 3d. Peas.—Partridge active 4s, Split £ls lOs. Bran.—Sale and output regular at £5 ss. Pollard.—Hardly obtainable at £7. Oatmeal.—2s's firm at £l3, rolled oats £lB, oatina 10s 6d. Chaff.—South are hardening with .supplies temporarily thinning, asking i)7s 6d for bright, and 92s 6d for medium. Straw chaff 67s 6d.
