RIFLE MATCH.
FAIRVIEW RIFLE CLUB V. MASTERTON MOUNTED RIFLES. An interesting ten-men rifle match was fired at the Fairview range on Saturday afternoon between teams representing 1 the Fairview Rifle Club and the Maaterton Mounted Rifles. The weather was splendid for shooting, and some good individual scores were registered, tha ranges chosen being 200 yards and 500 yards, seven shots at each range. The Fairview Club won by the substantial margin of 89 points. The following are the scores:—
