DJOCESAN CHANCELLOR'S ADMISSION. MELBOURNE, April 11. The chancellor of the diocese admits that Archbishop Clarke's cablegram to some extent constituted what Canon Nash'a supporters termed a "climb down " A cablegram last week stated that what is known as the "No. 2" charge had been dismissed, and that the Archbishop does not regard Mr Nash as permanently incapacitated for service in the church.
