BAKERS AND CASH COUPONS.
AUCKLAND, April 8. Auckland bakers, after having affirmed the desirability of adopting cash coupons, at a fuller meeting hela last night desired to shelve the question until the system had been more thoroughly tested elsewhere. Meantime they will maintain the price at 3Jd per two pound loaf. MARLBOROUGH CROWN LANDS. BLENHEIM, April 8. Despite the drought, the revenue from Marlborough Crown lands has come in well for the last year. There are now 1,075 selectors on the books of the Lands and Survey Department in this province, and £32,955 was received in revenue last year. The arrears of rent only amounted to £598 at 31st March.
