EARLY SETTLEMENT PROBABLE. Received April 9, 12.5 a.m. SYDNEY, April 8. The conference of representatives of the strikers and the coastal companies has arrived at a conditional agreement which will to-morrow be submitted to the consideration of the respective bodies concerned, and their decisions will be communicated to the adjourned meeting of the conference to be held on Friday, for final acceptance or otherwise. No details are available, but the feeling is that an early settlement of the strike is probable.
