A combined meeting of the Management Committees of the Masterton and Red Star Clubs will be held this evening in the Y.M.C.A. rooms. Mr T. Hanley, the smart Oamaru three-quarter, who last year captained the North Otagn representatives, has thrown in his lot with the Red Stars this season. Mr Hanley took part in the trial games at Dunedin last year, and but for receiving an injury would probably have been selected to represent Otago on their Northern tour. A match will be played on the Showgrounds, on Saturday next,' between the Masterton and Carterton senior teams. The Masterton team will be selected this evening. i
