GAS EXPLOSIONS AT A MINE.
TWO MEN KILLED. SEVENTY MEN ENTOMBED. Received March 30, 10.25 p.m. NEW YORK, March 30. A gas explosion at the Union Pacific Coal Mine, at Hanna, Wyoming, killed two men. A second explosion entombed seventy men who l were trying to secure the bodies of the dead. It is feared that all of them have been smothered by the after-damp.
