SALE OF QUEEN-STREET SECTIONS.
Messrs W* B. Chennells and Co. will offer by auction at 12.30 p.m. to-day, at their rooms, Perry Street, the valuable frontage to Queen Street of 78J feet, . in four lots ranging from 20J feet to 19 feet each, lying between Mr Macfarlane's tobacconist shop and the new Empire Hotel. This quarter of Queen Street is one of the busiest trade centres of the town, and possesses a number of substantial and up-to-date shops, while the value of the site is greatly enhanced by its close proximity to the Post Office and other Public Buildings. The terms offered are exceptionally reasonable, and will allow of anyone with small capital to, acquire one or more of the allotments. The buildings now upon the site (the old Empire Hotel) will also be sold in one lot, and should command keen bidding as the timbering is particularly sound.
