Results:— Trial Handicap.—Tui Tua 1, Kitua 2, Nulla Nulla 3. Won by a length. Time, Imin 36isee. Hurdles.—Kapakapa 1, Tui 2, Hillflower 3. Scratched—Pukekohe. Won by a head/ Magnificent finish. Time, 3min 4sec. Cup. —Lady Hune 1, Syren 2, Certainty 3. All started. Montigo and Lord Seaton were left at the post. Won by two lengths, a head between second and third. Time, 2min 16sec. Steeplechase.--Pierre 1, Loch Fyne 2, Kapakapa 3. Scratched— Hillflower and Harkaway. Won easily. Time, 6min 56sec. Claudeland's Handicap.—Foremost 1, Omati 2, Dardanus 3. Scratched —Landlock, Philosopher and Discoverer.. Foremost won all the way by two lengths. Time, lmin 47 4-ssec. District Hack Handicap.—Flint Isla-d 1, Freemantle 2, Miss Stella 3. Won all the way by three lengths. Flying Handicap.— Wauchope 1, Miss Crispin 2, Loch Buhie 3. Won all the way by one and a-half lengths. The sura of £1,054 10s passed
through the totalisator. Eight bookmakers were licensed.
