COLONIAL LOYALTY.
■"MERELY ON THE SURFACE." I MR KEIR HARDIE'S OPINION. Received March 27, 9.12 a.m. LONDON, March 26. Mr Keir Hardie, M.P., interviewed, said ha considered colonial loyalty was merely on the surface. Sentiment of Empire aroused no enthusmsm. Tariff reform would never t tighten the bonds, because colonials were willing take all and sacrifice nothing.
