Maize—Has small business at 4s 7d. Barley—Malting lively at 5s 3d, Cape scarce 3s 9d, feed dull 4s. Peas— Partridge active at 4s 6d, whites 6s, split £ls 10s. Bran —Better request at £5 ss. Pollard —Orders continue unfilled at £6 10s, mills short. Oatmeal—2ss, list at £l3, small rise anticipated, rolled oats £lB, oatina 10s 6d. ChaffNorth with bare crops ask 100s, se, Southern momentarily easier at 92s fid, si, but with first c-t off hand, value will harden considerably, straw chaff 2s 6d, se. Grass Seed—Sowing is in full swing, heavy MD rye firm at 6s, cocksfoot B£d, imported W clover 90a, cowgrass 105s, rape 355.
