COLLISION BETWEEN STEAMERS.
OVER 200 PERSONS PERISH. Received March] 24, 9 a.m. TOKIO, March 23. The Japanese coasting steamer Mutsu Maru collided with the HHeyoshi Maru, near Hakodate. The captain and crew and upwards cf 200 passengers of the former vessel parished. The Mutsu Maru was a twin screw steamer of 915 tons, and the Hideyoshi Maru is a tteel steamer of about 640 tons.
