Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cable messages from their London House, under date of the 19th instant: —Butter.-—Market very weak. The Copenhagen official quotation is unchanged. The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending 14th instant amounted to 90,000 cwt, as compared with 88,000 for the corresponding week of 1907; showing an increase of 2,000 cwt. Finest, 112s per cwt. Frozen Meat. —Since our last advices prices for mutton are higher by Jd to Jd per lb. The market for frozen lamb and beef is firm, but without change in prices.
