RED DEER STAGS may bo taken or. killed within the Comity of Wairarapa South and Featherston (excepting therefrom the prescribed area in Huangarua Survey District, and also the prescribed area in Haurangi Forest Reserve, being the Southern portion of such Reserve), from APRIL 1 to MAY 18, both days inclusive No Stag shall be killed having antlers less than 10 points, and no licensee shall be allowed to kill more than FOUR Stags. Licenses may be obtained at the Po3t Office at Wellington, Masterton, Carterton, Graytown North, Featherston, and Maryborough, on payment of a fee of £2. Maps showing boundaries of that part of the Reserve open to stalkers may be obtained at any of the said Post Offices on payment of ONE SHILLING. A. F. LOWE, Hon. Holiday Excursion Tickets, available for return until 30th March, will be obtainable (except where ordinary fares are less) from Woodville, Mauri cevillo and intermediate stations to Masterton, and from Te Aro, Greytovv'n, Clarevilie and intermediate stations to Opaki, on 2(Jch and by morning trains on 27th March. The tickets to Mustorton will be available for break of journey at Opaki only ; ' t lose for Opaki ac Mwnorton only. TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS.-A special passenger train, stopping, if required, ab all stations, will leave Cross Crook at 9.10 a.m., Gieytown ',155, Masterton 11.15 and arrive at Opaki Racecourse 11.25 a.m. A train will leave Masterton at 12.10 p.m. for Opaki Racecourse. Return train will leave Opaki Racecourse at 5.35 p.m., connecting at Masterton with train for Greytown and Wellington (see below). The usual 5.30 p.m. Masterton-Wel-lington train will leave Masterton at (5 p.m. All trains will, if required, stop opposite Opaki Racecourse for passengers. The Te Aro to Napier mail train will not, however, take, passengers for Opaki except from stations south of Cross Creek. A car for passengers will be attached to the goods train leaving Masterton. at 9".10 p.m. for Cross Crook. 1 BY ORDER.
