"THE IMMORTAL SOUL OF THE NEGRO."
AN INCIDENT IN THE REICHSTAG. "PIGGISH LOUTS." Received March 20, 10.25 p.m. LONDON, March 20. Reuter's Berlin correspondent states that He'rr Erzberger's reference to the immortal soul of the nergo, during a debate on the German colonies in the Keichatag, evoked laughter and cries of "Oh!" from the Press gallery. Herr Groeber thereupon referred to the reporters as "piggish louts." Thirty-two journalists then demonstratively withdrew from the Reichstag and refused to return until adequate satisfaction had been granted.
