[ THRILLING EXPERIENCES. i RAILWAY UNDER WATER. LOSS OF LIFE REPORTED. Received March 20, 10.15 a.m. SYDNEY, March 20. The flood J s receding at Narrabri. Railway is still interrupted owing to washaways. The damage to property and losses in stock are very severe. The rescue work provided some thrilling experiences. At Wee Waa, the water was still rising yesterday. Residents took refuge in buildings on high ground. Business was completely suspended. The railway is under water for miles. Parties are out rescuing isolated families. The bodies of two men were reported to be floating in the river. At Tamworthia family refugsd in a haystack, where they spent two days.
