BX IBUBOBAPH— PKBSS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, March 19. *** fXhe High Commissioner cables London under date, March 18th, as follows:- The wool sales have commenced. There is a large attendance of buyers, but competition is moderate. The selection catalogued consists of largely inferior lots, fine •crossbreds not being represented. Compared with the prices at the close of the last sales Merinos are 5 to 10 per cent, and crossbreds 10 to 15 per cent, lower, the fall being heaviest in coarse grades.
