AFFAIRS IN MOROCCO.

A RECENT FIGHT. HUNDREDS MOWED DOWN. Received March 18, 9.20 a.m. LONDON, March 17. Details of the defeat of the tribesmen (reference to which was cabled on the 10th) show that they were driven between unscalable cliffs. Hundreds were mowed down, until "Ceasefire!", was ordered for humanity's sake. Troops under General d'Amade, who were operating in the neighbourhood of Casablanca, routed the tribesmen with enormous slaughter. The French losses were slight.
