MASTERTON TECHNICAL SCHOOL.
The Masterton Technical classes opened wth the English and arithmetic class under Mr C.N. Haslam, last evening. Upwards of 40 pupils were in attendance, most of them being holders of free places, and the evening was spent in drafting a course for the year's work. The following classes will meet for instruction this Tuesday evening:—Perspective drawing, Mr G. R.lrvine; dressmaking (in the workshop, Dixon street), Miss M. Johnston; plumbing, (Workshop, Dixon Street), Mr §. Smallwood; and bookkeeping (Technical School, Hall Street), Mr Haslam.
