ADMIRAL EVANS' FLEET.
SUGGESTED CANADIAN INVITATION. VANCOUVER, March 13. A meeting at Vancouver recommended the extending of an invitation to Admiral Evans' fleet. OTTAWA, March 13. Sir W. Laurier, Canadian Prime Minister, is advised from a very influential quarter not to invite the fleet. FLEET TO VISIT AUSTRALIA. Received March 15, 5.30 p.m. LONDON, March 14. Official ad7ices received from Washington state that Admiral Evans' fleet will leave San Francisco on July 6th, and will visit in turn Hawaii, Samoa, Melbourne and Sydney. From Sydney the fleet will proceed to the Philippine Islands for the autumn gunnery practice, after which it will return to the Atlantic via Suez. \ The invitation extended to the fleet to visit Australia was supported by the British Ambassador.
