CARSWELLS v. MATAIKUNA.

- The Carswells ana Mataikuna cricketers played a match at Te Nui on March 7th, which resulted in a win for the former. The match was played in a paddock kindly lent for the occasion by Mr W. S. Barr. The day was an ideal one for cricket, and both players and visitors enjoyed the outing. Host Barr, of the Te Nui Hotel, had a splendid dinner prepared, which, needless to say, % was done full justice to, and for which the cricketers speak in high praise.
