RECOVERY OF BODIES

Received March 12, 11.12 p.m. LONDON, March 12. # The bodies of the men entombed in the Hampstead mine have been recovered. They lay with their faces on the ground, and there was evidence that they died peacefully, as there were no signs of struggling.

Nineteen men were entombed in *he Hampstead colliery, Birmingham, in which a fire occurred through the upsetting of candles.
