RECENT ,'SEIZURE OF A STEAMER.

Received March 10, 8.30 a.m. TOKIO, March 9. Japan is willing to consider China's t suggestion that the arms which were *■ aboard the Tatjsu Maru shall De returned to Japan, and that Japan shall -suppress the trade in munitions of war with the mainland.

The Tatsu Mara was seized last month at the instance of tht Chinese Customs officials, it being alleged that the steamer was landing arms for the rebels undqr Sun-Yat-Sen.
